Jakarta Government reminds all citizens to be aware during dry season since fire can spread faster in this kind of climate and potential to cause great effect.
Please be careful, because fire is potential to occur during dry season
Jakarta Fire Handling and Rescue (Gulkarmat) Acting Head (Plt), Subejo conveyed, fire is prone to occur during dry season because of hot climate condition and high wind velocity that can cause fire to spread quickly to other areas.
Fire Socialization Given to RW 05 Kapuk Muara Residents"Please be careful, because fire is potential to occur during dry season," he conveyed, Monday (7/22).
In order to prevent fire, his side equips hydrants in each urban villages and intensifies fire prevention socialization to the residents. Besides, his personnel also encourages people to check their gas cylinder, regulator, and hose regularly.
According to him, fire prevention socialization is given in accordance with Regional Regulation (Perda) No. 8/2008 about Fire Hazard Prevention and Control.
"We will continue to intensify fire prevention socialization thus we can minimize fire incident in Jakarta," he said.
